I hope you all had a nice weekend. I had a GREAT weekend as I got to attend the National Book Festival in Washington D.C. I heard many great authors speak about their writing practices and the books they have written. It was a beautiful day and we walked to the Library of Congress for a visit there as well. I'll write about this during the week.
Currently I am reading The Book Thief. It is written by Markus Zusak and is about a young girl in Nazi Germany. What are you reading? Who is the author? In one or two sentences, tell us about your book.

I just finished Ira Socol's book The Drool Room. Now I am reading James Rollins The Doomsday Key. On audio I am reading The Island at the Center of the World by Russel Shorto. It is a fascinating book about the Dutch colony of New Amserdam that became New York.
