  3. when you go to third grade you better be ready to give your best effort. Even if you are in Mr.Switzer's class so you can earn a Switzer dollars. Also you can buy things at the auction. I got an awesome push point pencil

  4. If you get Mr.Sweitzer for 3rd grade, you want to earn Sweitzer dollars. If you get Sweitzer dollars you will get to buy stuff at an auction. You have to learn to the teacher, not talk when someone else is, participate in class and be good to earn the Sweitzer dollars. If you have a substitute for Mr. Sweitzer and you are get you will get extra recess or something else special. Don't forget to do your homework or you will have to do it at recess.

    ReplyDelete
  5. You should give your best effort for a sweitzer dollar. You can use it to buy things. It is called an auction. The more sweitzer dollars the more things you can get. That is advice for you second graders.

    ReplyDelete
  6. My advice for all the secend graders is to give you best effort all the time. Even if you for get to your book bag. your go to have alot of talking to do. And make sure you say the right words because if you don't you will be watching all the thrid graders playing at recess. Thats my advice.

  7. If your in Mr.Sweitzer class and don't give your best effort you will lose your Sweitzer dollar. If you do give your best effort you get a Sweitzer dollar. If you don't give your best effort on the Purple Teapot you have to do it at school. If you do pay atention it will make school work so easy.If you ask for help you will get smarter.

  8. You second graders should start showing your best effort now.Because you might not get to join the others at a celaberation. You should also give your best effort no matter what the accomplishment is.And next year is your final grade of Sony Brook. And if you are in Mr.Sweitzers class if you give your best efert you get a Sweitzer doller. What you do with them is we have an auction and you can buy cool stuff.

  9. I love third grade. To second graders If you don't give your best effort its not going to be your best day. If your in Mr.Sweitzer's class he will give you a Swietzer dollar that you can buy stuff in auctions. I hope second graders give there best effort in third grade. Have fun learning!

  10. I'm leaving 3rd grade! To the 2end graders you are going to have to show your best effort. If your going to be in Mr.Sweitzer s class you'll get this dollar thats called a Sweitzer dollar. If you earn lots of fake Sweitzer dollars you can get real cool toys and books!!! ONLY if you get work done and do your best effort.

  11. All second graders out there 3rd grade rocks. So if your nerves dont because the teachers are very nice. An if you think Mr.Sweitzer is mean hes not he actually is supper nice. Also its fun because you get third grade avent an that is really fun. THIRD GRADE ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Some of my advice is for a second graders would be give your best effort. Not to be nerves because 3rd grade is fun.Study math facts that you know.If some second graters are nerves because they think 3rd grade is hard to not be because 3rd grade is not that hard at some things.Third grade is so fun most of the time.

  13. When you go to third grade you have to give your best effort. If you don't there can be consequences. In Mr.Sweitzer's class if you behave you can earn Sweitzer Dollars. If you get a lot of Sweitzer dollars you can get awesome stuff in the class auction. Third grade is really fun.

  14. Some advise for the second graders are that you give your best effort. Because when your in Mr. Sweitzers class and you get to fun things like get crayfish. Your going to hold the crayfish because your going to examine it. The crayfish are big and small. You can tell if they are a female or a male by looking at there tail flaps.

  15. Hear is some advice for theird grade. You can't goof off or try to be funny. If you do youy might have to stay in for recess or write a opolige to the teacher. If your in Mr. Sweitzer's class he might take away some fun activitys away. So always follow the ruls.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If you think third grades a nightmare it's not. But make shore you do your work!!! Listen to your teacher and follow directions. Third grade can be fun if you be R.O.A.R. Third grades awesome.

  17. To all 2nd graders at Stony Brook here is my advice. First, do not fool around on the monkey bars at recess or you will break your bones and that is not fun. Second, if you get Mrs. Lehman or Mr. Sweitzer as your teacher you will have a nice year if you always try your best and pay attention in class. And finally, you're going to learn a lot more about bullying in third grade so do your best to be nice to others and you'll have lots of good friends.

    ReplyDelete
  18. To all 2nd graders out there here is my advice about 3rd grade. First, you do a lot of more work. Second, if your in second grade at Stony Brook and you get Mr.Sweitzer you will have a blast because you sing songs and sometimes you get his home made cookies. If you have a good day when a sub is there you might get extra recess. When you learn your multiplication facts you get to learn songs that go with the facts you learn.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Don'd try to be cool because it never works.Don't talk back because they won't cut it.Your not allowed to chew gum.Your not allowed to tip your chair back.Your not allowed to waer flip-flops.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I would tell the 2nd graders to do all there home work. And if you have Mr. Swetier i'm shore you will have a fun year. Its fun when he's happy, but not fun at all when you get him eagry. To not get him eagry don't ask him dumb stuff that you can answer your self. HAVE A GRATE THRED GRADE YEAR.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Some advice to the second graders to give your best effort. If you happen to get Mr.Sweitzer as a teacher you get Sweitzer dollars from giving your best effort. What you can do with them is buy toys and other cool stuff. But still give your best effort in other classes too. Good luck second graders.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Here is some really good advice you really should give your best effort. If your in Mr.Sweitzers class he gives you Sweitzer dollars and you buy things at the auction if you have enough. Even if you're not in his class still give your best effort. Work really hard. 3rd grade is really fun. Good luck second grade.

  23. Hello, second grade! I am sure you have worked hard during the school year and am certain your teachers have prepared you for what's to come in third grade. My advice for a successful year would include:
    • Take risks...you never know what you can do unless you actually try it!
    • Think deeply...you certainly are capable of that.
    • Eat well, sleep well, drink plenty of fluids, and be active. Kids that are healthy do better in school!
    • Don't be afraid to ask questions.
    • Don't be afraid of the PSSAs. They are only a small, small part of what you do in third grade.
    • Most of all...have a positive attitude and go into third grade knowing that you have the power to make it a good year:)
    Best of luck!

  27. Hello, second grade kids! The things I think you'll have fun the most with is the PSSA's! I think you'll have fun with those is...
•you get snacks to help your brain think.
•If you finish you get to read till the last person finish's!
In my class were working with Bess Beetles! So far we tested it's strength by letting it drag paper clips. The most impotent thing about third grade is...
    •Do your best everytime!
    •NEVER have a doubt
And most impotently... Have a GREAT year!!!!!!

  28. If you ever ever get Mrs.Musone you will be so happy that you did. She is the best and I mean the best third grade teacher ever in history at Roundtown she has taught at other schools in Central to... but if you get her you have to know a few things...
    • "there is a time and place"
    • do not run in our classroom
•do your 100% at everything (work)
    • running and playing help you be more focused but do it at outside time (rescues)
You will have a lot of fun with Mrs.Musone she loves pink and flamingos but she is like any other third grade teacher but better. So all you second graders have fun in third grade I know you will in joy it !!!

If you are worried about the PSSAs don`t be afraid It is just like a regular test. There is geometry. (Geometry is shapes.)And math.
