I am reading Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. It is the current community book, which means there are many book clubs in York County all reading this book at the same time. It is the true story of people who lived through the Katrina hurricane.
I'm reading Junie B. Jones has a peep in her pocket by Denise Brunkus. There are a lot of kid's reading these books in my school.This book is funny and makes me laugh. I think the kid's in my school really like this book because they like it and think it's silly .

DeleteI'm reading a book called Animal Heroes. It is about animals who save people. There are a lot of stories in this book. My favorite story is about a gorilla who saves a toddler.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am reading The Kingdom Of Fantasy.It is a chapter book. It's about this mouse name Geronimo Stilton came up to the attic and saw a secret box. On the front on the box is a shiny gem. The secret box has different symbol. The symbol is like a code. Geronimo Stilton saw a door near somewhere. He was so scary that it was so silent. Then Geronimo found a friend and it was a frog.

I'm reading a book called Captain Underpants. It's about two boys and there principal Mr. Krupp. It's very interesting.

DeleteI am really a most excellent book called The Book Thief. I am reading it in the evenings with my two children, Jake & Frances. We are all fans of this historical fiction book. The book takes place during World War II in Munich Germany. It's the tale of a little girl, a.k.a. The Book Thief, her foster family, her friend Rudy, a Jew named Max (his religion is significant in the story), and some other characters in her town. The narrator is quite odd. It is told from death's perspective. It sounds a lot creepier than it is. The narration actually gives a reader a sense of the war and what happens during wartime. I would not recommend this book to young children because the subject matter is a bit difficult to understand. Even though I am reading it with my children, they are 13 and 11...a bit older.

DeleteI'm reading a book named Smile by Raina Telgemeier. The book is about Raina's life. It tells how she fell and lost her two front teeth when they were permanent. It talks about how she got braces, a retainer, and fill ins for her two teeth that were missing. It talks about Raina going through middle school and high school. It says Raina just wants to be a normal girl. But one night she trips and falls causing her teeth to fall out. What follows along is off and on braces, teeth surgery, embarrassing headgear, and a retainer with fake teeth attached. But on top of that there is still more two deal with like an earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly. Raina's story takes us from middle school and high school, where she discovers her artistic voice, finds out what a true friend ship really means, and where she can finally smile!

DeleteI am reading The 3 Adventure Of the kingdom of fantasy.The characters of this books are Geromino Stilton,The Dragon Of The Rainbow,Scribblehopper and other people of the Kingdom of fanastey.First the rainbow of dragon goes to Geronimo mouse hole. Then they travel to the kingdom of fantasy Then they find out that the Queen of fariy blossom, hoas been kidnaped.
ReplyDeleteI am reading the book Who was Amelia Earhart. It is about her life. From when she was just born to when she died. There are nine chapters in the book. I learned that Amelia had a sister named Muriel. They went to the Iowa State Fair. That is when she saw her first plane. She went to Hyde Park High School. She wanted to go to a first rate college. Instead she went to Ogontz school in Pennsylvania. In her second year of college she was vice president. She went to Toronto, Canada.She started to work to help cut soldiers. Later on she got her first plane ride. The person who took her on first plane ride and became her teacher was named Neta. She had a goal to become a pilot. From then on she kept on trying to break records. Then she got married George Putnam. Then she had a hope to become the first person to fly around the whole world. When she flew around the world she flew with a man named Fred. The during that time was lost. No one has ever found her yet.

Emily is staying with Molly McIntire. Emily discovers that she and Molly have a lot in common. Molly helps Emily feel at home in McIntire household. Molly learns that Emily is very good at math. Emily brought pictures of her and the princesses of England. That's when Emily realizes that they have a lot in common. Molly and Emily are American Girl Dolls
ReplyDeleteThe book that I am reading is called diary of a wimpy kid. Greg signs up for wrestling. He has to wrestle this kid named fregley. Fregley won. Now he doesn't want to wrestle him anymore. So Greg is trying to gain wheight to get to a higher level. Then Greg had to sign up for a play that he doesn't want to. And that is how far I got to.

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Island of the blue Dolphins by Scott Odell. My book is about indens on a island they sail off to see where one of there tropes went . Romo was a boy he leafed the conoa just because he forgot somthing on the island and he didin't want the wolfes to get it. His sister did not want to go but he did anyway then a caple minnets after his sister jumed in the water to tell him to get back on to the boat but he just kepped on swimming to shore. His sister lost him and then when she got to shore she saw him laying on the ground he was dead she new it was the wild wolfes she was crying so much she did not even say another word about it and thats all I read so far!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Weird But True 2 it is such a good book it has so many fakes that I did not even know about.that is whey I like it here are some of the fakes a rubik's cube can make 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 different combinations I can't bulive it to and some chickens lay green or blue eggs and that is all for now and that is the book I'm reading right now.:)
ReplyDeleteim reading the book the best worst school year ever its about this group of kids that are always in trouble one time they stole a baby and draw all over his head and it with permanet marker and you had to pay 50 cents to see his head and hee was bald so all of the marker showed up but when the louettas mom came home it wasent all off so she got grounded and so did her friend

Its about doll people that can get up and talk and walk but if some one sees them moving around the dolls go into doll state doll state is when the dolls freese and cant do any thing but you will have to read it yourself to find out more.

ReplyDeleteIn my classroom i'm reading james and the giant peach.I think you will like this book because it has deatali and farlly not bad vokablare.So i can't tell you much but james has ANTS but his parentes are going away and his ANTS have to wach him.There names are ANT SPIKER and ANT SPONG.But they are sorry to stay they are mean.They are making him work so hard.And a big peach is hanging on a little tree.And all thes bugs live in it.And then this is where the acishon happens.so it is more for kids.

My book is about a cheap mouse that dose not want to spend his money. Geronimo Stilton goes to Penny Pincher Castle for a wedding. Geronimo Stilton and the rest of the Stilton clan thinks Uncle Samuel S. Stingysnout is very poor, but Geronimo Stilton finds out that he is rich. That's all! Bye!

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Old Yeller. It is a fiction book. It is about a girl that hates this disgusting dog but the dog is smart so he knows when she is trying to get rid of him . Then she likes him for saving her brother from a bear. What I do know is that it is a very sad story because the dog dies in the end.
