Advice To Next Year's Students

You are almost finished with this school year and, I am sure, you have learned a lot. This week we are looking for the advice you would give to the students who will be entering your current class in August or September. For example, if you are in third grade you will give advice to second graders who will be entering third grade in the fall.

What do you think is really important about your current grade for them to know? Are there things they can do over the summer months to prepare for their next grade? You are the experts on this so let them know how they can prepare to be more successful!

In third grade make sure you do not be stressed about the PSSAs because by the time the PSSAs come you will already know everything you will need to know to pass. Also remember to listen to the teacher because if you don't you may fall behind and you will have to stay in for reseccs and study witch you do NOT want to do. And remember try to be the best you ,you can be . So know you know my advice for third grade and good luck! Please respond!

  19. If you are a 2nd grader and you think that 3rd grade is hard, well it is not as bad as you think it might be. Because the teachers are very nice, the work is not as hard as you think, and the PSSA is as easy as eating a pickle. All year long you will do work that will get you ready for 3rd grade. So if you think that 3rd grade is going to be hard and frustrating well it is not bad at all when you get to know your teachers and do more work. So I hope you are not as worried as you used to be as a 2nd grader.

  36. Advice to the kids going in to 3rd grade .Well make sure that you know your math facts , reading , and writing . Because you will have to do multiplaction in Fast Math and maybe even harder stuff . But if you don't come to 3rd grade prepared for multiplaction then your teacher might be a little disapointed because they wan't you to come very prepared . Also like I said they wan't you to come prepared for writing to because you will be learning cursive too . WELL that's all the advice i have for you . BYE !
