This week tell us a little about the book you are
reading. This will be a great opportunity for us to check out new titles
and see if there is something new we might want to look into reading.
Give us as much detail as you wish but try to write at least three
sentences. Be sure to capitalize the first letter of each sentence and
end each sentence with a period, exclamation point, or question mark,
whatever is correct. And, always capitalize the letter "I" when
referring to yourself.
Tell us about the book you are reading now. What do you like or not like
about it? Is it funny, adventurous, mysterious? Who is the main
character? Would you like that character to be one of your friends? Why
or why not? Would you recommend this book to one of your friends?
Right now, our class is reading The Twits as a read aloud. It's about Mr. and Mrs. Twit and how they play mean tricks on each other. One trick Mrs. Twit played on Mr. Twit was putting worms in his spaghetti. I would definitely recommend everyone read The Twits because it's funny and the author, Roald Dahl, is awesome!

DeleteThis week I started a book called called Captain Underpants the first novel. It is about two little boys that do pranks on many people. But finally one day the two boys prank their principal. your thinking it is just an ordinary prank but it isn't. I would immensely recommend anyone to read Captain Underpants because it hooks you to a funny awesome book. Dav Pilky is awesome sauce.
ReplyDeleteRight now ,I am reading Dr.Nicholas is Ridiculous . I am at page 21 so I am not that far into it. So when I have reading for homework I can read it and finish it. The main characters are A.J. and Dr.Nicholas. I would recommend it to everyone because ti is funny and Dan Gutman is really cool.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Esio Trot . It's a good book and I think I am on chapter 4. I like that book because it has a lot of detail. Another reason why I like that book is because it's by my second favorite author. That's Roald Dahl. I would recommend it to the class because it's a really awesome author and illustrator book.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Shiloh. It is a really good book. But I'm not even half way to the end of the book. I like the book because it teaches you how to be a good friend not just to your friends but to animals too. I would recommend it to the class because it's such an awesome book!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Animal BFFS.It is about two different animal being BFFs. One Animal BFF story is called Rex & Rex JR. Rex is a dog and Rex JR. is a kangaroo. The author is Stephanie R. Pearmain. I would recommend this book for everyone.
ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading is called Smile. It s a very good book. It is a true story about a girl named Raina. She loses her two front teeth and has to get fake teeth, but that is just how the story starts. I like this book because it is kind of like a biography and it is a graphic novel. It is a very good book and I would Definitely recommend this book to everyone. Happy reading!

DeleteI'm reading Mrs. Roopy is Loopy . It's a funny book. The main characters is A.J. and Mrs. Roopy. Right now Mrs Roopy has been George Washington, Johnny Appleseed, and Neil Armstrong. So far Mrs. Roopy is Dressing up every library period. The author is Dan Gutman. I recommend my weird school books because the characters do funny things and say interesting things.

ReplyDeleteI am reading a that is titled Day By Day With LeBron James. The story is based on LeBron and not just his basketball life but his social life like how he grew up. So far i've read about was that when he was growing he lived in Cleveland and his passion wasn't just basketball he also loved baseball. Another little part of the book that I read was how rough it was for him when he was growing up because him and his mom lived in the city of Cleveland which very dangerous and it was tuff for LeBron's mom to keep him safe. And that is a little about the book I am reading.

And it is a ran on like I funniest I totally funniest and I think James Patterson is comeing out with a another one. Adam I think I really like James Patterson as a book man and his books.

DeleteI am reading about Buttons the runaway puppy. I wish this puppy wasin real life. Buttons is a chocolate Labrador. There is one sister she is the youngest she has to brothers that are both older than her so they think that they can boss her around. Mr.Jenkins is the owner of the dog. Do you think you would like this book? That is the book I recamand.
ReplyDeleteI am reading The LEGO Movie: Junior Novel. Its a great book to read. One reason why, is it tells you all about the movie in a book instead, so you will not be watching the movie for 2 hours. Second reason why, the book is better than the movie all the time. Last reason why, you can't watch TV all day long. That is the book I recommend.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Rat and Roach rock on. It is about two friends that don't agree with each other about there outfits for there show because Rat is dirty so he likes dirty outfits and Roach likes sparkly outfits. So that's all I read so far. I would love to recommend this to my friends!

DeleteI am reading the Marvel Superheroes Encyclopedia. It has just about every superhero ever invented. You can learn a lot of different facts and back rounds of different people. If you don't know who Hulk really is then I'm pretty sure you can learn about it in this book. This book is a couple hundred pages long. So it will take a long time to read it cover to cover.

And I really like it because it has a funny girl named Ramona and it's her first day of 3rd grade and her dad gave her a eraser for good luck but a boy took it from her and she is trying to get it back. Have you ever read from the Ramona Quimby series? if you have not I think that you should take a look into it.

I am reading Heidi Heckelbeck has a secret and there is a mean girl,Melanie and she was making faces at Heidi and is being a big meanie.But then she meets a girl at lunch that want s to be her friend and they end being really good friends.At art class they are making self portrait and Melanie made a zig-zag mouth on her face and Melanie went to the principal's office.

Rebeca she is adventurous because she wants to find out more in Paris and she makes more friends on the way.The main character is Rebeca.I would like to have Rebeca as my friend because she always finds new things about Paris.I would like to recommend this book to my friends.

DeleteI am reading a book called Magic Bunny. It's about a bunny named Arrow who lives in a place called Moonglow Meadow. Arrow goes to earth and meats a girl. She is supposed to help protect the magic key that helps Moonglow Meadow stay beautiful and not turn into a desert. There is another land of bunnies they are called the dark rabbits. The dark rabbits are trying to get the key from Arrow so their land turns green and Moonglow Meadow turns into a desert. Can Arrow keep the key safe or will the dark rabbits get it. Read to find out

DeleteRight now I'm reading Baby-Sitters Club #5 Dawn and the terrible three. Its a very good book its about a baby sitting service club with four girls, Dawn, Mary Anne, Kristy, Stacey, and Claudia. They're all very good friends but not perfect ones. Dawn and Kristy fight and get to be friends at the end but the main idea is Dawn tells her story about her baby sitting Marnie, Billy, and they're little sister Susie. Marnie is allergenic to chocolate to choclate and almost died when Dawn almost fed it to her. PT

I think the first book is weird because I never got why their were yellow and white pages I think there's some pink too!

I am reading dork diaries right now. I've just started it and it is about a young girl {in school} and she makes plans. she wants to go out with friends, to the mall. Her plans are ruined when she has to watch her sister.... and she dosen't listen. She's supposed to sit next to her sister on the bench...that dosen't go so well. She ends up in the mall fountain getting coins because a pair of eyes weren't watching for a few minutes. "I need money to buy a unicorn to save...". Of course she isn't there much longer. But then they head upstairs. Queesy cheesy! { the restaurant }.....

I am reading a book called A Picture Book Of Martin Luther King Jr..it is by a great author,his name is David A. Adler.He wrote a lot of biographies about people who mean a lot to this world like Harriet Tubman,George Washington,Abraham Lincoln, and a lot more.You can go to the library and search in the biography section for books by David A. Adler.All of his books are very detailed so if you want to learn a lot about someone or something then read these books.Anyway my book is about Martin's life.Like when he was told he couldn't play with certain kids because the color of his skin it also tells about his speech and the rest of his life.It is detailed and when I read this book I knew a lot about Martin.I think you should try to get this book.It is awesome!!!!!

I am reading diary of a wimpy kid dog days. I do like it. But... the funny thing is that grey likes to stay indoors when it is hot outside. And when his friend Rowley has a pool and some times he and his friend Rowley go to the pool. When Greg went up and jump off the diving board. During the tournament someone stole the money from the money box ( they sold tickets for money).Joe and Frank are on the case. ReplyDeleteI had recently just read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 5 People won a golden ticket out of one of Wonkas chocolate bars. Little Charlie Bucket made it through the whole factory, but the others went home because of bad luck. Willy Wonka gave Charlie the factory to own with his family, since they only live in a little cabin.

Adler.There are a lot of books by him that are at the library.I don't know if they have this one in the library.I got it in my own class library.If they do have this in the school library I think you should get.I hope you like it if you do read it!!!!!!!!!
