Last week I was walking my dog late in the afternoon. It had just stopped raining and the sun was starting to peek through. I wondered if there would be a rainbow and, sure enough, as I turned the corner of our block there was one of the most beautiful rainbows I had ever seen. As a matter of fact, there were two rainbows. This is the picture I took, and although it isn't a great picture, you can see both rainbows over the houses.
Our world is filled with wonderful colors. What is one of your favorite colors and where do you see it in our world? How does your color make you feel? Here is my example:
I love the color red! We can see lots of red poinsettia plants around during the holiday season. Red is also one of the colors in the rainbow. The color red makes me feel happy and bright.
My favorite color is ruby and pearl shade of pink because first ruby is my birthstone and pearl pink is a delightful shade of pink.

My favorite color is sky blue. Its a wonderful summer light blue. I like it because it feels warm and comforting. I usally see it in the summer sky. I also see it in cold water. I think it's the best color in the world!

ReplyDeleteBlack is my favorite color, I know black isn't in a rainbow. its makes me feel like I'm a silent ninja. (I really am) I sneak around the play-ground with my awesome partner. Sometimes we even join a a game of four square for a break and sometimes we do it to trick other people into thinking that were really playing four square so we act natural.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite colors are purple and blue because they look good together and not just for that reason. I like purple for two reasons, 1. In the spring my grandmother and I plant beautiful flowers, I don't know what kind of flowers we plant but I know they are pretty. I also like purple because it looks good on me. I like blue for two reasons also 1. It looks good on me. 2. because we also plant those in the summer! I love my favorite colors.

ReplyDeleteHmmm...that is a tough one. I notice that I have different favorite colors depending on what mood I am in and what I am doing with that color. For example, when I am getting dressed I would have to say that gray and black are my favorite colors. The reason is simple. I do not have to worry about not matching! Gray and black go with just about everything, with the exception of navy blue and black. Therefore, I don't really even need to think about what I put on if either my top or bottom is blue or gray. My favorite feel-good color would hands down be pink. Pink has a way of brightening my day, and is the color of those tacky, plastic, cheesy, flamingoes that I love so much! Pink has a way of making my day a little bit brighter!

Hmmm.... I think that my favorite Coler would be yellow because when I see the Coler yellow it makes me happy. Yellow is also my favorite Coler because it is a Coler in the colorful rainbow. There is also 2 resins I like yellow. 1.It is Colerful and cheerful. 2 .It looks good on a hat,t-shirt or on shoes. Yellow also looks good in the background on a poster or a movie!!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute, favorite color of all time would have to be blue! Particularly light blue. I see it almost every day in the sky. Sometimes there is gray up there. I think blue isn't the color of sadness. LIGHT blue is what I like. I just think it's uplifting. It also reminds me of peace. I think it's a calm color. You know, just a feel-good color. I wish that's what my brother was like. I can see light blue in the sky when it's nice out. My brother's room is painted light blue you would think if you were standing in my room and looking. Some of my toys and stuffed animals are blue. I LOVE BLUE!

ReplyDeleteMy two absolutely positively favorite one of them is Sapphire A.K.A blue, I see it all the time like in my room, the sky, water, and computer colors. blue just looks so amazing! An other one is orange things and did you know that the sun is orange and not yellow!
ReplyDeleteI think that I have two favorite colors. My first one would have to be red. I like red because it is a bright color. I like how it stands out and how it is the first color of the rainbow. I think I see it on lots of people shirts,rainbows,sometimes you can see it in a sunset. I also like it because it is my birthstone and red is for January. My other favorite color is turquoise. I like it because it is a bright color that can also stand out. I see it on peoples shirts,the ocean and in lots of other places. I like the color red and the color turquoise. Mrs.Sheffer.I agree. ReplyDeleteMy favorite Color is Blue because it is the color of the sky and eclectically because Penn State wears the color. The color blue makes me feel like a good athlete. I love to play football and every time I see blue I think of the Penn State Football team and there campus that I have been to like a million. I love looking at the blue sky too because of all the very pretty clouds. Penn State and all the other beautiful things on it is one of my favorite things in the world.
ReplyDeleteWell if I had to choose a favorite color is black and yellow I also have a few reasons that I like black and yellow 1. It is the Steelers colors 2. Is that I just think that black and yellow sound good together. I also like the colors black and yellow because you see yellow everyday because it's the color of the sun. And you also see black everyday when you look outside at night. I also like the color red.

ReplyDeleteMy three absolute FAVORITE color's are lime green, light blue, and purple! I like them because they make me feel fantastic and happy inside and I think they look good together. Here is some resin's why. Green:1. It looks good on me 2.It's a soothing color. 3 It one of the color's of my room and 4 my friend where's a special shirt that says green is my favorite color. I like most colors but these are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color would have to be a tie beetween 2 different colors which would be lime green and turquize. I see lime green in my mom's bedroom because the color of her bedroom lime green. I see blue in the kids bathroom. I like the color lime green because it reminds me of my cousin who got cancer. Why I like turquize is because it is a really cool bright color. If I had a third favorite color it would be pink because that is the color of cancer and my cousin had cancer.

I haft to say my three favorite color's in the whole milky way are: #1:orange #2:red and #3:white. I like orange because it is bright, cheerful, and a color to look at when your sad and your happy all of a sudden. Red is just like orange but to me it's just so cool looking. White is nice once in a while and it goes with everything. Although everything look's good on me, I like those three color's more than..... EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I think favorite color would have to absolutely be bright orange. My favorite color is orange because I see orange in the rainbow, on my basketball jersey, and pencil Orange makes me feel bright and happy everyday.
ReplyDeleteMy two absolutely positively favorite colors are blue and green. One of the many reasons I like blue is because my favorite college football team, Penn State, is blue and white. I see blue all the time some of the times are when I go to the beach since the water is blue. Another time is when I look up at the sky,also is when I go to Penn State foot ball games,and in the rainbow. The reason that I like green is for two things. The first thing is my first favorite NFL football team the Eagles since there colors are green and white. The second thing is my second favorite NFL football team is the Green Bay Packers and there colors are green and yellow. The time I see green is in the rainbow and when I look at the grass.
