Not All Gifts Cost Money

Right now is the holiday season and everyone is thinking about the gifts they are going to buy for friends and family. But not all gifts have to cost money. Many times people appreciate things that are handmade or things that you do for them. For instance, instead of buying your grandma a fancy gift, you might tell her you will come to her house and watch a movie with her several times during the year. You might tell you mother that you will help with the dinner dishes each night for a month. You might tell your sister you will walk the dog for her so she can watch her favorite tv show.

The important thing is that you choose to do something that will be very meaningful to them. It should be something you don't already do (if you already make your bed, don't promise to make your bed). And, this isn't something you can do just during the holiday but something you can do all year around.

Let's see how creative you can be. Write at least two sentences telling us who you would do something for, what you would do, and why it would be important to them. Here is my example:

I will tell my neighbor that I will babysit for her three evenings when she wants to go out. She will have a baby in February and if I babysit for her she can go do things she might need to do and not have to pay a babysitter.
