Wow! The President is really busy all day with extremely important things. He has to meet lots of people and make some very hard decisions. I was glad to learn that many of them took some time for exercise. It is important that our president stay healthy!
Note to teachers: When completed, there is a nice little article that summarizes the choices the student made.
Wow! President work really hard. I thank he has to work hard so he can stay at his job. I'm glad that presidents are healthy because if they wern't healthy they would die. I like presidents because they help us. If you was a president what would you do?
ReplyDeleteI liked being President but doing all of that WOW. I didn't know the President has all of decisions. I learned he can choose what he wants to do. I also didn't know that he has a limo. I also didn't know that some Presidents have a family.
ReplyDeleteWow! being a President sounds really hard. I learned that the president has to be born in the U.S, they have to be at least 35 years old, and they have to be a U.S. be a U.S. citizen. I don't really get why the President has to kiss babies when they aren't even in your family. I wonder what the President does when he is sick. I wonder if there is like a substitute President.

ReplyDeleteWow,being a President is hard work. It would be neat to meet a president. Every four years, there is a chance for a new president. The White House is a really cool place. They deserve alot of respect for all their hard work.

ReplyDeleteI would like to be a preseident it looks fun but it would be hard.The things are hard to do because it is a lot and you have to think hard. And you get to see other preseidents. That is a lot of preseidents to see and 44. It would be hard doing the stuff that thay do and how many stuff thay do that is so so so cool!

DeleteI think that being a president is hard. Because, you make up the rules of that state I think. And you never know if your gonna make a bad choice or not. So, I wouldn't like to be one. It's to difficult! If I was ever voted for president I would bring my bestfriend with me. I only know that there are 44 presidents and that's it. I don't know a lot of things about presidents.

ReplyDeleteWOW, that is a lot of money to go up in the hundred thousands. If I added $400,000 a Year, $20,000 dollars a year for Entertaining+ $100,000 =$520,000. That is a lot of money for a kid. Do you have that much money because I don't.

ReplyDeleteBeing president would be an absolutely amazing experience. I would love to meet people from all over the world and help make decisions that hopefully help millions of Americans. That would be the most rewarding part about being the president. I would also like to not have to worry about doing the laundry, cooking dinner, or scrubbing toilets...no housework would be a perk. However, I do not think I could do this job for an extended period of time. I would become very stressed out knowing that mistakes I make along the way could hurt people, unintentionally. For example, if I made the decision to go to war, I would be putting thousands of troops in harms way. I don't think I would be able to sleep at night.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine getting to do all of this neat stuff that I don't even know a president could do during his spare time. But on the other hand there is a lot of stuff to be done in your whole time of being president. The thing I know best is there are no chores for you and I would absolutely love that. But most of your time is spent working and signing for a really really long amount of time! Plus a lot of people in your building are asking you to come somewhere when your all ready busy doing something else with a different person like with the gardener!
ReplyDeleteI learned that if a president wanted to order a pizza his agent would have to order it with a private name private number phone and then his agent would have to pick it up. To be president it would be very stressful. All through out the day you would have to go to meetings and go to very top secret things in the pentegon. It would be hard. If you made some decisions other people might not agree and get upset and some decisions can be hurtful like if I decide a war is going to happen. Or if I decide to make gas prices more that $6.00 a gallon. That would be wasting people's money. Some good thing are that you do not have to do chores.All chore's are done for you. Also some people will be fans of you.
ReplyDeleteI knew that presidents have to work ALOT but I did not know that presidents have so many pets like president George H.W. had 5 dogs.But if I was president I would go swimming in the pool in the White House and I would fly a jet to Germany to see what Germany looks like.And I do not want to be the President because you have deal with all the bills and ALOT of work witch I do not want to deal with.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that I would do all sort's of new stuff. Like having an interview done, going anywhere I really want, meeting queens and princesses, meeting kings and princes, that would be totally awesome! But, I can't imagine leaving my family and not seeing them much. I don't really like to ride plane's, either. So being a president is not really my thing. I will never ever in my hole entire life will run for president.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine being the president! But the bad thing about being the president because all the mistakes I would make the whole country would be in BIG trouble. Another bad thing about being the president is that you might be thinking one thing and someone else might be thinking another thing and then they will think that I'm a bad president. So if I had to choose to be the president and I chose yes and then I won the election and then became the president of the United States I would be sort of disappointed that I won and made the other canidents mad at me. So I would actually rather not be the president because I would just be traveling around the world not being able to see my family and when I do get to I will be signing papers and pretty much doing boring stuff all day. So I would rather not be the president but I would actually rather be the president's son because I think that it would be the awesomest thing ever to live in the national awesome White House!
ReplyDeleteWow. There is no way I would ever become the president. I'm the kind of person who hates to work. I like to relax ALL day! When you're the president, you have to go to all these conferences knowing that the whole world could come out in a war if you say something a little wrong. Sometimes you can have a little fun with your family and have lunch in the gardens though. I would like to be the president if it was easier and the fate of a whole country wasn't in my hands. It would be awesome to be president if you could spend even a tiny bit of free time in the TV room watching TV on a flat screen. But you know, you wouldn't be able to spend a lot of time being with your family and friends. Plus, you would have to work all night so when would you go to sleep? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I could destroy my country. When I did something wrong, it actually mattered! But if I did something good, everybody would cheer for me and be happy. So there are perks and bad things. I would be eager to just live in the white house, though!

One thing I learned about being President that would be very hard for me is all of the decision making. Every one of the President's decisions could affect millions of people! I have a hard time just deciding what cereal I am going to have for breakfast! I also learned that Presidents take the time to exercise. I know that is important for everyone!

But if I had a pool party I would probably want a pizza, but if I tried to order one I be able to just order a pizza, I would probably have to send one of my security guards to go and get it, because if I tried to get it I bet someone would adult-nap me.
