This past Sunday the Academy Awards were presented. The award, called the Oscar, is given for the best of various categories in the movie industry. The first Academy Awards were given in 1929. Interestingly, that is the same year the stock market crashed and began
The Great Depression, the worst economic time in our history.
If you could award an Oscar to your favorite movie of all time, what would it be? Why do you think it is the best movie?

My favorite movie is the "Princess Diaries". I think they are good comedy movies for kids. The category would be best comedy movie in the 2000's. Thats what I would pick to get the Oscar award! BYE THANKS FOR READING!!!!!!!$$$

ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie is Snow white and the Huntsmen. I think it is a great movie but the thing is that is PG-13. So I think that little kids should not watch it. And it has some monsters in it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie is star wars. I think it was really good because it has a good story line to the movie. I think the editors did good with making the Yoda. The animations are the best thing about star wars. My favorite person in star wars is Chubaca. Mt least favorite person is Dark Vader. That was why I star wars should be in the Oscar.
ReplyDeleteIf I could award an Oscar to my favorite movie of all time,it would be Monster High Friday Night Frights. I think Friday Night Frights is the best movie because I always imagine that there is a roller skating game. Here is the second reason why I like the movie. The second reason I like the movie (Friday Night Frights) because I like how all the monsters practice roller skating. I also watch the movie over and over again. I think I watch the movie 4 or 5 times. So that is my favorite movie if I award an Oscar.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite movie Secret of the Wings.Secret of the Wings is my favorite movie because when Tink and Periwinkle meet each other is very cute and there're look the same.I like that movie because it teachs you a lesson the is you should do what your parent's tell you.It's a very cute movie because in the end of the movie they runight.I love when Tink shows periwinkle her broken wing and when they put there wings toghther and then heel Tinks wing.In the end of the movie they figuer out how to see each other.So thats why my favorite movie should get an Oscer.
ReplyDeleteIf I could award an Oscar to my favorite movie of all time it would be Hotel Transylvanaia. The reason I like the movie is because how they draw the pic. And another reason is because the people they use as the people voices. Also I like Mavis the child in the movie. And on vote 1 to 500 I would say 500. But it douse teach you a lesson do not lie. So that is my favorite movie if award an Oscar.

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite movie is SpongeBob Squarepants. SpongeBob Squarepants is my favorite movie because it's funny. I like the movie because SpongeBob has a best fiend and get a long with one of SpongeBob's best friend's. I also like the movie because SpongeBob help's people feel better. I also like SpongeBob because SpongeBob is helpful to his fiends and family. I also like SpongeBob because SpongeBob listens to other people when they are talking. So thats why my favorite movie should get an oscer.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to award an Oscar for the best movie it would be RIO. I think RIO should be an Oscar winner because the blue macaws and the other birds are really life like. The second reason it's my favorite movie is because there are a lot of birds and there very beautiful. The third reason why I think RIO should win a Oscar is because it has a really wonderful animation. The fourth reason I would choose RIO to win a Oscar is because it's so funny like for an example when the monkeys try to kidnap the blue macaws they say in your little monkey dreams. The fifth reason why RIO should win an Oscar is it is cute when they try to help the bird fly and they fall and they land on a hang glider and think there dead. These are the reasons why RIO should win an Oscar. RIO is a really amazing movie and I think you should watch it.

I think that the Lorax is the best movie because it has funny parts that I like a lot.The soccond thing I like about is when all of the fishes start to sing at once. The third reason I like the Lorax is that it teaches you a lesson to take care of trees so we get Oxegen. The fourth reason I like the Lorax is because you will want to see the movie again and again. What movie do you think should be a Oscar. "The Lorax" is the one I think should be a Oscer.
ReplyDeleteIf I could give an award to my favorite movie I would give it to Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules. I like Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules because I think it is very funny. Another reason I like it is because it is based off of the book and I really like the book. Also because of the settings and were it takes place. I also like Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules because I really like the moral of the story. The last reason I like it is because the main character is around my age so I can relate to it. They are the reasons I would pick Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules for my favorite movie.

I think The Amazing Spiderman is the best movie of all time because the movie has some pretty good parts. I watched the movie 2 or 3 times I think. Another reason I think it is the best movie of all time is how they made Spiderman swing. The fourth reason I think The Amazing Spiderman is the best movie of all time is they had string that looked liked a real spider string. So that is my favorite movie if I award an Oscar.

Loke is my favorit person in Star Wars. C3-PO is my second favorit caricter. R2-D2 is my therd favorit caricter. That is my favorit movie if I award an Oscar.

Another reason I would choose BattleField America would be because it inspires me to dance more and more. Also because its all kids break dancing. The last reason would be that because choreographer is great.

The reason Star Wars has amazing caricters is because some look strange like Watto and Jabba The Hut. Another reason the caricters are awsome is because some can jump high like the jedi and the sith and Jar-Jar. My favorite caricter is Luke because Luke is a specle jedi. That is why I think Star Wars should win an Oscar.

I also like it because it has lots of cool and scertrange sounds. And the graphics are out the WAZOO. I also love it because of all the animals. You know what I could probably find "Jumanji" if I tryed really hard. Thats why I would give "Jumanji" an Oscer.

Another reason I like that movie because it has funny parts an it has a little of romance. I like how they chose the charters voices. It is so so funny when a kid ate a red pepper.
