The cherry trees usually blossom towards the end of March. They are incredibly beautiful and a sure sign that spring has arrived.In 1912 the city of Tokyo gave Washington, D.C., a gift of 3,000 flowering cherry trees ("sakura" in Japanese), as a symbol of enduring friendship between Japan and the United States. Despite a war, the friendship has prevailed, and the trees every spring have bestowed upon the U.S. capital a graceful beauty and a time-honored tradition of gathering and admiring the pink blossoms. What is your favorite thing about the arrival of spring? Do you like to see the flowers and trees pop open? Maybe it is getting to play outside more? Baseball season? Planting a garden? There are so many things!

I have never seen the cherry blossoms in washington DC but my mom says they are beautiful. I would love to see them some day. My favorite thing about spring is seeing the frowers and trees bloom. I also like to pick the flowers. Another thing is I like to help my mom plant flowers. I like to play with my sister and my friend outside. I hope that warm weather comes very soon.

DeleteI have seen a Cheery Blossom before. They are lite pink. My favorite about Spring is the flowers blooming. All the pretty colors. When I run in Spring my mom and I take a break ah pick the flowers and put them in pots. Then some of my mom and dads friends come over an we take there kids down to the park. And I hope that the weather will get warmer!

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about the arrival of spring is that it is warmer in the spring. I like that it is warmer in spring because I can go outside more and not be so cold. An other one of my favorite things about the arrival of spring is that in spring every thing is so beautiful in spring. Like the flowers in spring are so beautiful, "you know what they say April showers bring May flowers". In the spring the trees and grass are always so beautiful. The grass and trees are always so beautiful because they are always so green. Those are my favorite things about the arrival of spring.

ReplyDeleteThese are some reasons why I like the arrival of spring. My first reason is because we have a extra hour of daylight. My second reason is because the sun is bright. Also the trees get leaves. I love being outside. I know Summer is right around the corner. That means cookout time. Those are some reasons I like the arrival of spring.

Another reason I like spring is the tempature is not too cold or too hot. It's just warm. But I haven't had warm days in the spring yet! I hope the tempature gets warmer. Those are the things I like about spring.

ReplyDeleteBecause the weather is getting warm in the spring, I can go outside and do many things. My favorite thing to do in the spring is to play catch with my dad. I also like to play badminton with my dad. Also, I often ride my bike every afternoon. But the hardest thing to do is to catch ants and other insects and put them in boxes. The reason why it is hard to catch them is that they are very fast and hard to find. However, it is fun to catch those insects. those are my favorite things to do in spring.

I love to go outside and play with my friends because I like to run outside with my friends a lot. Usually when we go outside we ride scooters or bikes. The reason why we usually ride scooters or bikes because I think it is much funner when I ride a scooters and bikes.
