It Is Fair Week in York PA!

If you live near York PA, you know that this is a big week for our city. The York Fair is one of oldest fairs in America, having roots going back to 1765! The York Fair has something interesting for everyone. There are rides, lots of food, interesting entertainment, and ANIMALS! The animals are my favorite thing to visit. I really like to see the alpacas and the sheep but any of the animals are really fun to watch! They all do such interesting things!

    This post comes just after I visited the York Fair. I went on Sunday afternoon. Although there are many fun things to do at the York Fair, I would have to say that one of my favorites this year was watching the high school marching bands perform. I have never done that before, or even realized that the high schools performed at the fair, until this year, when my son, Jake, performed with Central's band. Boy, does York County have some wonderful marching bands. They were all very impressive.

    After that, something else that I really like about the fair occurred. I saw one of my students, Nathaniel, at the fair. I also saw my neighbor, Dennis. It's always fun to run into people that I know when I am there!

    Looking forward to reading what other people like at the fair too! If you have never been to the fair, what would you look forward to doing based upon what you know? Why?

    We had a great time at the York Fair this Sunday. Each of the York County high school marching bands performed at the Grandstand. I love to hear the music at the fair each year and see the pumpkins that students have grown and decorated. We never miss the pig races either! My favorite food to eat there is Stoltzfus ham and cheese sandwiches and fried vegetables from Tom's. I can't wait to hear about other students' favorites at the fair!

    Last year when I went to the fair, I loved seeing the baby pigs. They were tiny and very cute. I also enjoyed eating a baked potato with a lot of toppings. Finally, I always love watching my daughters play games and try to win prizes. They love winning stuffed animals the best.

    I love playing the goldfish game. It was so much fun when I finally won my first goldfish. I rarely win goldfish. I also love funnel cake! It tastes soooo good!!

    I love the food at the York fair! I love the food because it's so good and you don't get some of the things they have there. Like Tom's Veggie Stand. Also you can't get Bricker's French Fries except for the fair and some other places.

    I like the fair because it is very fun. My favorite part is food. Because their fries are good. You can put salt and other stuff on it what ever you want on your food.

    My favorite part of the fair is the great food like hot dogs,funnel cake,fries and pizza but my older sister says the best part are the rides. And my little sister says she likes the games. Whats your favorite part of the fair?

    My favorite part of the York fair is the bumper cars. I love how it feels that your really driving and that you get thrown around when you crash! I also think it's interesting that the cars run on electricity that come from the ceiling! That is what I like about the fair, what is your favorite part of the York fair?

    I went to the fair last year. I saw a horse. I petted it. When I walked away it neighed. So i got back in line. When i was up again.It stoped neighing. I think it liked me.

    The fair is really fun and my favorite part is the rides and the food. My favorite food is the funnel cake and my favorite ride is the faris wheel.I like going really high so you can see the whole fair.

    I love the pumpkin funnel cake more than the regular funnel cake but I got the regular funnel cake instead. I shared the funnel cake with my family. It's fills me up a lot. We ate that last and I wanted to get something else to eat, but my dad said no. I liked playing "I Got It." It's the game where you throw the ball and try to get five in a row. I won once. This year I was not lucky. Last year I was for some reason.

    I went to the fair too. the fair is a fun plase to be there is rides that are fun to go on like wing surfer it my favorit fair ride in the park I went with my friend Jacey it was fun.I got some fanal cake it was good. I went on the bumprcars and the scramir too. And on some slids too.I love the fair.aris

    Did you go to the York fair? Well I did and it was fun! My favorite part of the fair is the animals or the food. I like going to the petting zoo and the little wild life park. The food there is awesome. There is funnel cakes,ice cream,corn dogs,and pop corn. If you haven't
    been to the fair ever before you should go it is a lot of fun. There is probably some of your
    friends that go to the York fair and you mite see them there because I just saw one of my friends. Hope you make it to the York fair.

    My favorite thing at the fair is the rides exspeicaly Windsurfer.I also love the funnel cake. I went to the york fair a few weeks ago with my friend Aris. When we were there we got to pet a horse and a goat. We even got to see a new born baby chick. It was fun!

    I like the to ride the camel and see the alpacas. I don't get to ride on the rides because my parents think it will break so i don't ride them. i like eating corn dogs and hot dogs.

    When I go to the rides first. Then I go to the food stands and get funnel cake and real food.
    then do more rides my favorite rides are the roller coasters. And then i do one or two games.
    Then i go home after a good day at the york fair.

    My favorite part of the fair is the food. I love walking around and sampling all the different kinds of food there are. I like everything from the sausage sandwiches to funnel cakes to waffle ice cream and more. That is my favorite part of the fair.

    my favorite part of the york fair is the big rides and the conserts. Because my family and I go to a consert almost every year and ride the rides also. One year I saw salina. gomez it was very exiding. some of my favorite rides are the mouse, zipper,hounted house ,the himalas, spaceships and more . I also made a pumpkin to enter it was papa smurf.     My favorite ride is the starship 3000 because i love rides that spin around and around and then you stick to the wall it is so fun! And when the walls go up you feel like your floating but your not your just spinning so fast that your sticking you feel like a magnet. Thank you for reading my comment

    When I went to the fair I did the bumper cars and ate funnel cake.I rode most of the rides.I played a duck game and won a bannanna.I also rode the fireball.My parents did not get on any of the rides we was happy to leave.

    I wish I could of gone to the York fair but we were just so busy I wish I could of gone because since we didn't go I am sad.
