The book I am currently reading is titled, Hoot. I'm just a few chapters into the book, but it is NOT the first time I have read it. I've actually read it three or four times, which might give you an indication of what I think about the book. I like it...a lot!
ReplyDeleteSo far, the main character has been bullied on the bus by a much larger student named Dana. Dana was choking the main character, Roy, while going to school. Roy inadvertently ended up breaking Dana's nose to break free. From there, Roy ran off the bus and believe it or not, got hit in the head with a golf ball. He passed out, but luckily was not seriously injured. There's also a "mystery character" who was introduced. I only know that he doesn't wear shoes, is a kid, and runs, runs, runs. It's always interesting to see how the story unfolds. One of the things I like best about this story is that the author only offers tidbits of information at a time and eventually weaves everything together so that it makes perfect sense. I'd say it is a page-turner. I'm thinking that most kids (and grown ups) would find it interesting.

In the one I'm reading she glued paper to her best friends hair broke an office ladies hip and her aunt married her principal. Her enemy is a girl named Angeline she doesn't like her because she is pretty and always brags her best friend Isabella is a devil she put a worm in her brother's mouth and taped it shut while he was sleeping and he's four she did that because he took her chocolate bar never mess with Isabella

ReplyDeleteI am currently reading ramona age 8 I am only on chapter 2 and it is about Ramona the main character is so exited to finally ride the bus but then she figures out that riding the bus is a pain. I think that kids who don't like riding the bus wound find this pretty funny. I like this book a lot even though I just started this book

ReplyDeleteIts about gadgets tools toys and experiments and more my favorite chapter is Flying things. It has a turtle hitting a guy in the head because the turtle was flying its so funny. It has paper airplanes and how to make them. There are no main characters because its just facts and funny stuff and a special gross chapter.
I am currently reading a Nancy Drew book. I am a little more than halfway done with this book. This book is about a girl named Nancy Drew who is on a Superstar cruise ship with her friends Bess, George and Bess's boyfriend, Alan. When they are on the cruise ship strange things start happening. There is a body in the cruise ship pool and Nancy starts thinking that someone is after Superstar Cruises. Nancy will do whatever it takes to find the crook (or maybe the crooks). I would tell my friends to read this book. It's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am reading a book called: The Christmas Mystery. In the book the main character lived on a cul-de-sac with a lot of other kids. One day, an old man moved in and it was almost Christmas. He was doing lots of weird stuff like putting up his Christmas tree and putting ornaments on while angels were flying over his head. The next day, when the kids went to spy on him, there were twice as many angels above his head. I didn't get to finish the book yet, so that is all I know.
ReplyDeleteI think it is really interesting because the old man moved in just in time for Christmas and he started doing all different sorts of traditions.
I would recommend it to second, third, and fourth graders. It's really interesting to me, but I don't think my mom would like it as much because it's really cartoony.
The book that I am reading is called Charlie Bone And The Invisible Boy. The book is very interesting because it has like eight characters and they have to help a boy named ollie because he was bit by a magical boa constrictor that turns people invisible when it bites them. The book has 408 pages and I have read around 300 pages. I am also reading a Flat Stanley book and I have only ready about 15 pages so far so I don't really know what its about . There is a girl in the story and her name is Sarah Christmas and she is putting down presents under trees instead of Santa but I don't know why she is doing that but i'm guessing that something is messing with Santa. Bye! :-)
ReplyDeleteI am reading the best school year ever!I really like that book because its very intresting and its sort of a mystery/funny book Im on chapter 8 and its SUPER good so far.I hope they come out with a new book like that if they do im going to read it.I showed my mom it and we have been reading it all he time before I go to bed.She said she likes the book to and its intresting for her to.So its good for grown ups and kids to.It sort of teaches you a leson of not to seal things and to be good...well so far.I think this might be my favorite book it depends if I read a better book (witch I probaly will soon of later) But I really like this book. I like it alot

ReplyDeleteIt's were the two main characters (Jake and Annie) go into the past to help a girl believe in leprechauns but as they were trying to help her, they got her upset and she asked the the town nurse to help her out.
I am reading the book the Hunger games I just started it on sunday so I'm not even out of the first chapter. My mom said I would like it. So far I like it and my mom is right. I think it's for older kids and young grownups. It is a very BIG book. My mom said I wan sitting their for an hour and a half reading and I'm sill not done with the first chapter. I was reading it on my kindle but I lost it so I had to start all over with the paper book. I want to read all 3 books.

DeleteThe book that I am reading is called Star Jumper. The book Star jumper is about a boy who wants to build a machine to leave earth to get away from his little brother that is really annoying. When the boy comes home with the cardboard to make his machine his little brother keeps saying are you building me a castle. Then he started shoving papers under his door of what he wanted his castle to look like. I am only on chapter 3. That is all I have read. So far I really like the book!
ReplyDeleteI am in the middle of reading I Survived The Battle of Gettysburg, 1863. The main character is a boy named Thomas, who was a slave. I am in the middle of the book where the battle has begun. Here's a little snippet of what's happening. Soldiers are falling fast from the front row. They hear, "Boom, Boom." That's where I left off.
ReplyDeleteI think the book is a very good book because it has it describes how the battle started and how the North won.
I would recommend it to people who are 9 years old to 100 years old. If you are younger than it, you might get bad dreams. If you are older, you'll think of death, if you know what I mean.

Deletei am reading a book named,Dork diaries,it funny nikki is the main character she is a girl and she want's to be popular and one of my favorite parts was when she wanted a new phone so she got a new phone on eBay and she put it in her locker and started talking with a new friend and the phone started ringing and it would not stop she didn't want to open her locker because then her friends would see the phone and hoped that it would stop but didn't so she answered the phone and it was a public telephone and her new friend started running and screaming down the hall because they didn't like it I guess.she also gets bulled by a girl named Mackenzie. DeleteThe book I am reading The Encyclopedia of Immaturity. It is a really a good book because it's kind of like a magic,prank and funny all smashed together into one big book .it is magnificent! I would defiantly recommend it .
ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called My Fathers Dragon and it is a chapter book and it has 3 versions in the same book but I'm only on the first chapter and there is really nothing to tell you about so I will tell you about the most resent book that I read that was called because of mr. terupt(AKA there is no capitals for the title) and it is a good book because of tells a lot of details and it tells a lot about tell characters in the beginning as you can see I really like this book.....a lot.

There are some funny parts too and the book is about mouse's in a school.The book belongs to me one of my teacher's gave it to me but I forget what teacher it was. I like this book because it is funny and I like funny book's I like to laugh.I would recommend this to my friend Brynn.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading the book Nancy Clancy and I am on chapter 2 but I read the book already so this is not my first time reading it. So far it is awesome book and it is a chapter book . It is Fancy Nancy groan up . I exspeshily like the book because at first I was like is that Fancy Nancy groan up and I love Fancy Nancy. Fancy Nancy is probably my favorite fiction book.
ReplyDeleteNancy Clancy is the best book for 2cd to 3rd graders. It is to easy for 4th graders. I would recommend that they read this book. I like it but it dos not mean that you hafted to like this book. Have you ever read one of those books? It is really fun to read this book. It has a hole series of Nancy Clancy books and I only have number the books two and three of the series. This is the kind of book that you would have Clifed hangers . cliffed hangers are chapters that end when you want to know more about what is going to happen next when it is very good. I like this book so when you read it maybe or you have al ready read the book please coment back.

ReplyDeletei am reading a book called bad kitty vs uncle murray the uproar at the front door it is about a kitty and his owners are leaving for a trip for 1 whole week and his uncle has to watch him for 1 whole week while the kitty's owner is on a trip and the kitty is acting bad because he has not gotten any food for a couple of days and then his uncle gave him food for dinner and i would defently recomend it to a friend and it is one of the most funniest stories that i have read and it is a book for second and third graders and i am very injoying it because it is very funny for kids and fun and it entertains you to sit down and read for a long period of time.

I am reading a book called Double Fudge. It is about a boy named Fudge and his brother Peter. Fudge is in love with money. His family is trying to teach him that money isn't everything. I am enjoying this funny book because Fudge finds himself in very interesting predicaments. I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys an entertaining story and likes to laugh.

ReplyDeleteI like Harry Potter and the goblet of fire.I recommend EVERYBODY read it because it is so good. When you read it it is like sitting on pins and needles!It is a really loooooooooooooooooooong book but, I hate and don't mean to brag, I finished it in 2 days! I am NOT kidding.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Diary of a wimpy kid. The part that I like about it is were Greg touched the cheese and he got the cheese touch. Greg has two brothers and his older brother Rodrick likes to bully Greg a lot of times in the story. I think all you would like this book.

ReplyDeleteThe book that I am reading right now is Have a Hot Time, Hades. It is written by Kate McMullen. It's the story of the beginning of the Greek gods and goddesses as told by the big, bad guy himself, Hades Ruler of the Underworld. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes myths and mythology as well as anyone who likes a laugh when they read. But don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!

The book is about a boy who likes minecraft and one day he was finished a soda so he threw it to the trash can but he missed. You can see the rest by getting the book.

It is about 5 mice that are trying to figure out what mouse stole a girl named Julie's collection of clothes. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteryies. The book that I am reading is called Dairy of a Wimpy Kid. The author of this book is Jeff Kinney. This book is a book that has a laugh or two from time to time. I would recommend this book because it is about a 2-5 grade books and it is all about a kid who makes good and bad choices and sometimes gets into trouble. Also if you like this book than you should read the hole series!

ReplyDeleteI have bin reading Undead Ed series. It is a about a little boy that got hit by a truck. And is a zombie in the dead world it's creepy and keeps my interest in it. he meets another dead person that is a werewolf it became his best friend and a evil clown possessed his arm and he went to a school for everybody to protect him. The next book I want to catch is Undead Ed And The Demon Fingers the next book in the series. That is the book I am looking forward to finish reading.

ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading right now is Shiloh. Its written by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. Its the story of Marty Preston finds a beagle by The old Shiloh schoolhouse and names him Shiloh. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who likes dogs or a good book to read. But don't take my word for it. Check it out!

DeleteWell I really like this book called my weird school daze. I'm reading the 4th book i'm trying to read it like: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 or any more. I want to read them all in order because you will under stand it more. At my school we call this a Just Right Book JRB. Its on my level 34 and I bet if you read it you would read it every single day. I also bet you would love it i'm trying to get people to read it. Its written by: Dan Gutman and pictures are by: Jim Paillot. If you already read these amazing books tell me right away! I hope Dan Gutman and Jim Paillot stay together as a team and keep writing books. And if you already read it good for you please share the news.
