May 8 is National Teacher Day. Teachers work very hard to help you learn. What is one thing your teacher has done that has helped you learn something new this year?

  1. I learned a lot from Mrs. Gartrell this year. She has come into my classroom throughout the course of the school year and has helped me to plan various classroom activities. I feel like I am a better teacher because of her. For example, I have learned a thing or two about physics, problem solving, and stretching students thinking. I am thankful I had the opportunity not only to work with, but to learn from her this year!

  2. My teacher Mrs. Gartrell helped me learn higher division like in the hundreds or thousands. I didn't understand it at first but she made it easier to remember and finally I got it. She helped me learn all kinds of things and helped me write stories. It was amazing how she helped me. She even helped me write a book and it will have illustrations. Mrs. Gartrell challenges me. She makes me do harder things that will make me a better reader and writer. She helps me do the best work I can do. She comes in two times a week and always helps my class learn new things and new ways to do it. Mrs. Gartrell is important to me because without her I wouldn't be learning these new things we never have learned this year. I started seeing her and second grade and since then I have learned things that I will remember because she was the one who taught me when my regular school work was too easy. So this week, I appreciate my teacher, Mrs. Gartrell.

  3. My teacher who comes to visit two times a week is Mrs.Gartrell. I have learned a lot from her in second grade and in third grade. When she comes to visit she usally pulls us out of the classroom and takes us to her room to stretch our brains. She lets us write story's and chapter's of story's and she has us do logic puzzle's that can be very difficult. Some things that she has helped me learn is higher level division like in the hundreds or the thousands. She also helped me write story's that were detailed and had quoations and things. Without her I would not have been a better student. I think that I am very lucky that I have Mrs.Gartrell to help do some higher level thinking and teach me things and help me get the hang of them.

  4. My teacher Mrs. Musone is one of the best teachers that I have ever had! She is a very kind person and she really does care about your opinion and what you think. If I don't have a math problem or I am getting stuck on guided reading things she will help me until I get the problem or I am going through my work with a snap of the fingers. She thinks that there is a time for fun and games but when she wants to get something done then she gets it done. She loves all of her third graders no matter what they do. I think that Mrs. Musone is the best teacher EVER!

  9. I have learned how to type a million times better than last year. Probably because Mrs.Musone uses the computers a lot and we play games about learning how to type. She says have our fingers on certain spots like 2 letters that the left pointer finger does are G and H those are some there are some more also. The game that she has us play there are different stages to learn more letters for different fingers that makes me so much better at typing thank you Mrs.Musone.
